A quick post about the Sanctuary episode I saw last evening:
The episode was strange at the beginning, not something I'd expect them to do so early on, perhaps, meaning giving it another setting, but as it evolved, it was actually an interesting episode.
We finally got to see the flashback where John proposed to Helen, in fact, it opened up the episode, because it was important for the viewer to see where they came from, I guess, or why exactly Helen was seeing John Druitt in her flashbacks/hallucinations.
Chris, of course, did a wonderful job again. He had only a line or maybe two as the Bigfoot, but he was very needed in Helen's flashbacks. Man, I love that voice. But who doesn't, these days? I can never get enough of Todd, that's for sure.
The lady who played Morgan Le Fey on Stargate Atlantis, and in Stargate: The Ark of Truth, guest starred.
On meanwhile, ratings for the episode "Fata Morgana" are in, and it looks like they pulled a 1.6 that week, closely followed by SGA's "The Lost Tribe", which was good for a 1.5. Not bad. It's nice to see the two shows back to back. Bummer about Atlantis getting cancelled, because it's great to see first Atlantis, and then the actors of the Stargate verse in a totally different show, acting together, again, I can imagine.
Hopefully Sanctuary's ratings have already stabilized, so it'll get a second season.
