Yielding your Heart
Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and King involves the utter surrender of your thoughts to Him to teach, and of your life to Him to govern.
I have to put myself completely at His disposal! I must not only sing with my lips but make it a fact in my life !! -- I surrender all!
This lack of absolute surrender is the cause of my backsliding.
Apostle Peter, he too was a backslider, but after the Pentecost he was one of the mightiest servants of Christ the world ever saw!
My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
(Jeremiah 2:13)
I have decided to leave my broken cisterns of the world & come back to Christ, THE FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATER!
