Jason just left to collect his last pay cheque and request his fair tip share that was denied him last monday. cross your fingers and maybe we'll get out of debt and put a small payment on the cc. In the case of another rejection Jason may do one of two things: stay absolutely genial and calm and explain who he'll be contacting promptly, or he might spazz out... I dunno. Following the visit to the restaurant he will be going to the EI office to apply for help. Following that we are taking a pile of early 1900s books (donated by his grandparents) to a bookseller. A couple of them may be first edition ... yay. By the end of the day his mother may have sent him money instead of spending it on gifts for us so we'll make it.
But almost two weeks ago I confronted Nik about the 1200 they owe me and she apologized and said she'd be sending me money in a few days and paying back the full amount by the end of december. Nothing has come yet. When Jason was fired I emailed her to let her know, hoping it would speed the process up.. But according to her mass emails she's out purchasing gifts for her rich family members and friends. Yep. Bitter.
