been awhile
So, my computer died a few weeks ago and I've been trying to get the parts I need. In the end I will have bought a brand new tower, motherboard and powersupply.. hopefully the list ends there.. urgh..
I'm at work, counting down till lunch because i really have to pee. Lets see..
Well, a few weeks ago Jamie, Andrew, Jason and I went to Rockwood park to look for edible plants. we really only looked for obvious ones like cattails, water lilies and burdoch. Twas fun. I saw a bunny and Andrew saw a deer. We took many pictures which should be up at some point on andrews website and i'll get ahold of them if i can.
Jason went to his best friends wedding the other day. Apparently it was a strange experience.
We may be getting another kitten.. Well, Jason will be getting his own kitten.. If we can keep up with the litter we should be fine, besides Hellion needs to take out her childhood frustration from abuse on someone smaller.. We're hoping they'll be friends. Its just hard to stop the older cat from feeling jealous.
I had my first tutoring session last thursday which was excellent. I feel far less stupid yay. I've registered for both terms next year at UNB. My tutor is actually in the general biology program. she started out in environmental, which was my plan, and found it too regimented.. I thought environmental might include conservation of specific species but apparently its mostly about pollution.. anywhoo, so i think i'll take the more more versatile route of general biology as well... wheeeee.
I applied for my first student loan. I hope they give me money. I've been looking at possible bursaries etc i could apply for.. will give more consideration but if i can get something from the govt it will make me happy. Also, if i stay on part time at work that will ease the financial burden a bit too..
Oooooh. Pamela has mentioned she's interested in moving in with us for the school year. Jason and I have thought it over and are optimistic about it. The only problem was when Jason wondered "Where will I paint?" then realized we have a nice spacey garage/shed used for storage but with alot of room... we're going to convert the alcove into our office area separated from the recording area by a table... Maybe we could build one of those folding wooden screens to give more privacy in the "work" area. lol.
I've been a bit stressed over money lately because Jason's still unemployed and I'm not making many hours at work. I mailed my tax return a month ago and haven't got money back yet and rent is coming up in a few days so its a bit frustrating. At least i have overdraft protection but if the tax return isn't in within the next two weeks.... I'll die!!!!
