Summary: Like Demi need to be reminded.
Demi loved her sister Dallas. She did, it’s just that, sometimes, she can be annoying.
Like how she’s being right now.
Demi wakes up around 7:30 on Thursday morning, already knowing the significance of that day, even before being completely conscious.
She’s been dreading today.
Knowing that, especially with her sister Dallas home for the week, she would be reminded of it.
Demi’s day starts out just as she expected; Dallas up abnormally early to do some weird stuff to “subtly” hint the day’s historical importance.
Demi starts her long trek across her room to her door, where she opens it and finds “subtle hint” numero uno.
Across the hall, where there used to be the bare white wall of the hallway, is now a conveniently placed calendar with the first 21 days of the current month crossed out to reveal today’s date. Like Demi needed to be reminded.
As Demi rolls her eyes, she walks downstairs to the kitchen and starts to make her cereal.
Just as she starts to pour the milk into the bowl, Dallas greets Demi with a “Good Morning” that seems to carry too much energy for 8 in the morning than it should.
“morning Dal” She responds with a hint of annoyance and with that sits down at the table to eat her breakfast, thinking about what else Dallas could have done, or is going to do to, to unnecessarily jog Demi’s memory.
