So, in my continued quest to read every Black Widow appearance ever!!eleven I finally found scans of the 2007 White Tiger mini. It wasn't exactly what I expected in a spin-off of Bendis/Maleev Daredevil.

alex's tag makes me cry at night, does alex even have a tag?, alex creates another tag, alex is a hottie, alex's tags are intimidating, alex needs no tag

Actually, hmmm, in terms of hair color, they originally previewed Black Widow #1 with the first cover image, but they later replaced it and changed...THE HAIR.

Making me think they are editorially mandating dark magenta-y red more than orange red. And no one cares but me...

It's kind of the orange red in the preview interiors. I think the darker colors look better on the cover with the red in the background, buut how much of this has to do with the movie?

Did you see the solicit cover with her and Electra?

Yeah, and I can tl;dr about the Black Widow/Elektra relationship if you want. It's a good meet-up/fight idea, I just hope it doesn't all become about Matt, you know? Focus more on the fact that Elektra murdered hundreds of SHIELD agents, as was touched on in her last mini. Anyway, I think Acuna's drawings get better with each cover.
