I have never cared for emotions. Logic dictates them as a weakness, and to have them is to be weak. It is much easier to be manipulated when you have emotion, and it is unfavorable that I must now put up with them due to this body. Even if it is likely they are the reason for my being with Soundwave.

Well, I was born with them, and throughout my entire childhood, I had a wonderful mentor to help me harness them, and use them properly. I was far too young to remember the exact moment I discovered I had them.
