OH before I forget, do we want to hash out how their meeting went today? I have a feeling it'll affect how wholeheartedly Nico goes into things.

sure - he'd be laying on the superhero act pretty thick, not saying a lot unless questioned, basically acting very solemn/in need of a hug after 'leaning' what happens to Gert.

Nico will be all bite and bark at first because she's the only one of the Runners who got to "see" Victorious---and seeing him again will scare her a bit. But once he lays that act on, she'll warm up a little. She'll be edgy and cautious but dammit he has her boyfriend's face and that's hard to fight.

Nice. He won't try to push the social engineering any farther, since at this point he thinks she's as won over as he needs her to be to give present!Vic the hard drive, and he doesn't want to make her suspicious again.

He'll just give it to Nico, look sensitive, ask if she and her friends need anything from him, and be on his way. Actually he still wants to see Gert for himself to know whether she's a threat, but following Nico back to the shelter would be a little too risky for him.
