You guuuys.
So since my desktop is dying, I'm looking into getting a new one, and trying to decide if I want to buy the components and build my own, which... I can do, but I don't have much room to work in here. Or buy a whole system off the shelf/internets, which would probably come with some software I'd have to... otherwise obtain... if I built from scratch >_>
(And by "my desktop is dying" I mean my dad killed it. ... No, that's unfair, but he was the one using it when it decided constantly powering off would be fun.)
Suggestions for makes to try or avoid? :D
Already noted for avoidance: Dell. Who have taken over Alienware, sob.
EDIT: THANK YOU for all the advice guys. I MAYBE SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT I'M IN THE UK THOUGH... so um. Newegg and that other one don't... work for me :D;;; BUT OTHERWISE, very cool advice ♥
