Hey DC people!
I figure this would be a good place to start asking so...
I'm pretty much a complete Marvel fan, but I've kind of been interested in looking into the DC universe. My only real exposure to it though was the cartoons back when I was a kid though (The 90s Batman animated series, Justice League, Adam West, the Super Friends). So, with the exception of what I know from things like wiki and interacting with some of our characters here, I know absolutely nothing about the universe as a whole or any of the titles that DC puts out.
So, my question to y'all is
If you were trying to sell DC to someone who knows little to nothing about it, what titles/issues would you recommend?
I've heard good things about Jonah Hex, and am thinking about picking it up, but would love to jump into the other things too. Anything Batman is a big plus too.
And, if possible, I'd like to keep it to issues and not have to buy trades (just yet). So if there were any recent releases (say like, in the past 4-5 weeks) that would be easy to jump into, that would be great!
