I went and saw

the MOTHERFUCKING OFFSPRING in Dallas last night. If you don't know them, they're sort of the best punk/alternative band in the history of EVER and also my favorite band since I was like... 9, 10. Seeing them live was on my proverbial "Bucket List" and now I can die happy

GOD SO LUCKY, OFF SPRING MUST BE AMAZING LIVE.

Interestingly enough Bjork is in one of my most memorable concerts list. She was absolutely dazzling and the show had fireworks and she's pretty much adorable. SKUNK ANANSIE IS AN AWESOME BAND LIVE AND I'M VERY EXCITED THAT THEY'RE WORKING TOGETHER AGAIN.

BANDS I'D KILL TO SEE: Um. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club [but they disbaaandeeeeed ;-;], INTERPOL - MY GOD - , The Fratellis, Audioslave [though I'll hopefully go to Chris Cornell's this June] and gah, I could spend ages listing this *INSERT HERE EVERY ALTERNATIVE ROCK BAND EVER*

AND IT WAS A CONCERT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BEACH TOO, IT WAS SURREAL.

and then Moby came next. And I'd probably appreciate that one more if I hadn't been an idiot and sneaked into the first line in front of THE SPEAKERS. I had trouble syncing my breathing with the thumps of the bass of that, it was so strong x.x

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh, one I really would love to watch is Incubus. And The Last Shadow Puppets. And Pearl Jam. And METALLICA I MIGHT SEE THEM THIS SUMMER.

...there's a reason why I've always wanted to be a journalist and it was to GO TO CONCERTS BECAUSE OF WORK, after all. XD;

...aw, man, worst reason to cancel a show ever. I mean. Well, not in the douche-y way, just... really goddamn unfortunate. I find it adorable that they're taking a break because some band members became fathers and Brandon Boyd is back in college, but I hope they get back on tour soon since they're like... the typical surfer's initiation concert band, or something.
