-Lust really just thinks of food as fuel and a way for her body to not start consuming its Philosopher's Stone resources to survive! That last bit only shows up as a fact in a poorly-translated interview and I totally did not know was a thing until like, two years into playing her, which is why she had no food in her apartment and never ate during the first time she was in-game and now... eats. She just doesn't do it as often as the average person, and only eats on a regular schedule if she's under constant scrutiny--at most she'll have one small meal per day. This is both due to the City making her figurative health bar work slightly differently than it did in canon (it refills itself over time!! she doesn't know that!!) and me not wanting to completely retcon all those stupid casual mentions I made of her not having to eat in like, every log in 2009. Still, she can appreciate good food! it's just not really one of her priorities, since she's always saving money and incapable of getting sick. This has been a really longwinded way to say that her feelings on food are no1curr, but if she was like forced at gunpoint to pick something it would probably be hella boring and continental European in origin. Maybe Italian food? Also, being reduced to a greasy smoke multiple times has somehow not put her off eating meat, but she does like her steak rare. IT'S THE BLOOD.
-Water or tea, always. In terms of alcohol, she is very much a wine person! Red or white are both fine, but probably red more often because it matches her eyes and is the drink of villainy. She doesn't drink frequently, and pretty much only orders alcohol in public places when not having it would make her conspicuous or someone else is paying, Tony. Hard liquor is also not her bag, in general, because it's easier to get shitfaced on than just nursing a glass of wine for fifty years, and she values her self-control way too much! But she'll drink martinis and gin and tonics and so on, stuff like that; her liquor preference definitely tends more to the BURNING THE BACK OF YOUR FUCKING THROAT HUWAAAAHHHHHH than the girly, but she also purposefully doesn't want to cultivate a whiskey or tequila-drinking image because she associates it, in her 1915 wisdom, with trashy dudes. Dudes who look and act like Greed. Nobody wants that biz.
-LUST CANNOT COOK FOR SHIT. Even after two and a half years, she's still used to getting food out of military kitchens or occasionally eating at restaurants, and since she's apparently less hungry than ever in the City, the cost benefits of learning how to actually make shit for herself aren't as salient. She can probably, like, make pasta? But it wouldn't be good pasta.
