TODAY'S THE DAY. IC MAFIA IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN.
in uh... half an hour.
this is the chatroom we'll be hanging out in! you need to be in this chatroom in order to be in the game, since it's where we'll be counting votes to see how many people are in the game and so on. it's an OOC chat. :) the games officially start at 7 CST so GET IN THERE.

however, a basic rundown of the game is this:
there are two teams, Village and Mafia. the Village usually consists of various roles like Cop, Doc, Gunsmith, etc. the Mafia consists of roles like Hooker, Tailor, Ventriloquist, etc. it is the Village's job to figure out who among them is Mafia and kill them before the Mafia kills everyone else. (there's also neutral, but they're playing for themself and only want themself to win.) everyone does their actions at night, such as the Mafia killing one Village person, and the Village doing whatever. (Cop would investigate, Doc would protect, so on.) and during the day, everyone comes together to discuss what they found out and who they think is Mafia. the game ends when one side (or two, in some cases) has won.
SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD REMEMBER:
•whoever is the Cop is generally the one in charge of piecing together evidence and whatnot. they are considered the "leader".
•a way of communication is "whispers", which is private messaging. however, there are situations where whispers are "leaked" which makes the game a little bit more tricky.
•this game is a game of backstabbing, lying, betraying, and general douchiness. EXPECT THAT.
and most importantly
•DO NOT. TRUST. ANYONE.
make sure you have an account created at epicmafia in order to play! you can make either a character or personal account, but make sure your icon is your character's icon.
