I've rescued kittens out of trees ... kids, people's valuables, the occasional puppy ... a contraband iguana is a new one, though.

Thing I learned today: iguanas are herbivorous.

Another thing I learned today: but they still have sharp teeth.

@UnwickedWitch I'm fine, Miss, but thanks for asking.
@UnwickedWitch Compared to the Lizard I'm usually getting bitten by, this is a scratch.

@threatormenace Well, make sure you disinfect it! Otherwise you might get sick or something since the lizard was just
@threatormenace rescued and ...wait! Did you take it to the vet? You should probably take it to a vet. Even if you mean to keep it!
@threatormenace It could have rabies or something!
@threatormenace ...can lizards get rabies?

@UnwickedWitch The iguana's fine, his owner was right there, just couldn't get up to get him down.
@UnwickedWitch No, they can't get rabies, because they're cold-blooded.
@UnwickedWitch Unless they're genetically engineered killer rabies lizards, but I'm pretty sure that's not what's going on here.
@UnwickedWitch And I went and bought myself some neosporin. Not that that would help with rabies ... but it doesn't have rabies. And it isn't gene-spliced.
@UnwickedWitch Dang it, now you've made me paranoid!
