1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? I know ages ago a lot of people were really surprised that she didn't sound HIGH VOICE KAWAII DESU, but I don't know if people still make that assumption! SHE HAS A MATURE-R VOICE? IF ANYONE CARES I WILL DIG UP A VOICE CLIP. SPOILERS: SHE HAS A LOWER VOICE THAN TERRA AND CLOVER. SOMEHOW. but oh god do not listen to her voice in the dub it makes me cry all the tears.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She doesn't hesitate, but she hedges what she's saying all the time. As such, her sentence structure can sometimes get a little convoluted! She usually sounds pretty calm and level, with a steady, slower pace (especially compared to Rua.)
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? COMMAS COMMAS EVERYWHERE. and the hedging.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Japanese, English, totally-fluent-for-her-age. and Monster. Kinda.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? She defaults to English unless she's speaking to someone from Domino. These days she thinks and talks to herself in English.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She has to think about what she wants to say. BUT IF JACK ATLUS IS FORCING HER TO SELL RAMEN IS ANY INDICATION, SHE'S NOT BAD AT PUBLIC SPEAKING. DID I EVER SHOW YOU GUYS THE RAMEN SEQUENCE...

SHE WAS PLAYING STUPID COMPLEX CARD GAMES THAT I, OLESIA, IN UNIVERSITY, STILL TOTALLY FREAKING SUCK AT. SHE WAS PLAYING THEM BEFORE MOST KIDS LEARNED HOW TO READ. also she didn't know what a prisoner's TRACKING DEVICE ON THEIR FACE MEANT.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She thinks on her feet! PLEASE SEE MINUS WORLD, WHERE SHE CROSSDRESSES AS A WIZARD IN ORDER TO OVERTHROW A MONKEY KING AND WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT TOO IF IT WEREN'T FOR THAT DAMN SHOTA GRANDFATHER.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? It's both on both in a lot of ways. STRATEGY, BUT HAVING FAITH IN THE HEART OF THE CARDS. EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FOR THE BEST, BUT GODDAMMIT YOU GUYS ARE BEING DUMBASSES.
4. What kind of education has the character had? In NDC, she was never able to attend public or private schools (for long) due to her frailty. CANON FACT, RUA AND RUKA LEARNED EVERYTHING OVER THE INTERNET. IN JAPAN. IN THE FUTURE. and then she tried public school in the city because rua was here, then decided she hated that.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? FRIG I DON'T KNOW. WHATEVER KEEPS THE PEOPLE SHE CARES ABOUT FROM DYING AND GETTING HURT, REALLY.
