Okay, so seeing everyone discussing plots and holiday-related shizz...I think it would be nice if we made an official holiday-plotting/CR gathering...thing-a-ma-jig. So, GDS, I present to you...
CNC'S OFFICIAL HOLIDAY PLANNING THREAD

Of course, it also means he's going to be in a HORRIBLE mood and feel guilty and argumentative and etc etc through to the 25th.
As far as Christmas itself goes, Edgeworth is noooooooot really going to celebrate it because he has awful, awful mental connections to the holiday and most of the friends he was close enough to last year to give gifts to are gone. Ruka will probably get a new pair of ultra-quality gloves (which he totally does not have matched to his own, shush) and Remus' gift is coming during the Truth Bug plot, so hey. Sirius is getting a rabies-vaccination tag for his dog collar to spite him for all the trouble he's caused. The holiday party is really his one main gift to everyone ever. The only exception is if he suddenly comes up with/has reason for any other handouts, but he really doesn't want people to think he wants all kinds of musical glurge or wrapping paper everywhere or festive hats and if you think you're getting him in some kind of elf ears you're out of your mind and, so will be keeping his actual-Christmas stuff to a minimum.
From December 25-30, he will be EVEN MORE completely bitchy, want to be alone a lot, and especially twitchy around elevators. He will NOT be taking any cases, and not want to do any talking about 'family' or his work or what his old world was like. This is because his father was murdered on December 28, and he spent the next fifteen years believing it was his fault. Spoiler spoiler spoiler, and other factors contribute as well.
Anything beyond that I haven't thought of yet for him and am willing to bring up/discuss/brainstorm about. Yeah, I've no idea what he's doing for New Year's.

I won't tell you exactly what his present for Edgeworth is, but it involves small explosions and things that go around the neck. And a collection of pieces of paper, but that one's actually being given to him ON Christmas. ...if Sirius can find him.
Trowa, because Sirius thinks he's funny, will get a parachute, and an address to bring his bike to for Sirius to work on it.

AND. He'll be findable, just. SO VERY LINEFACEY like the line goes past the sides of his face and stretches off into the air a bit or something. I imagine the efforts will go a long way once he's out of his bad mood, though!

Alastair is pleased for this lack of present-giving obligation and will do his best not to blow anything up at the party if the Oricalchos manifests.
