What I think regarding this kid is too damn complex for the present question; unfortunately, this particular scale doesn't allow for recognizing multiple numbers across the table and/or anything terribly complicated all at the same time. I guess if I had to pin him down as something, I could... jeez, I really can't do this with only one number!

Just call him sitting around a 3/4 with heavy tendencies toward X if not actively drawn into something, and we'll let it sit at that.

The scale is definitely lacking, especially if your character (or you, really) is someone who views sexuality as something that's fluid/impossible to operationally define. And it really only works for one point in time or multiple points in time without allowing an overall type of analysis.

The scale's got its uses, to be sure; it's definitely a good way to get a fast overall picture when you need an analysis PDQ. And it's a hell of a lot easier than trying to determine the answer from loads and loads of heavy paragraphs and/or having to write them in the first place. My problem is just that I enjoy detailed information far too much, ahaha.
