Stop. Raining.
I got drenched on the way to work, rained on anytime I left a building (yes there were awnings), there was enough of a tornado warning to have my kids and I actually hiding in a closet for cover (which had me staying late), and now I am trying to un/pack my car and getting soaked.
I need something tarp-like to cover cabin windows and to not forget my staple gun, pick up a jug of water, stow every piece of bedding I possess, and for someone to mention something regards said ETN event that doesn't make me want to throw up my hands and throw in the towel. End my LARP season on NGA's high note.
Then again, I'm also irritable because (due to vacation) the scale said I gained eight pounds this week. I'm not sure I was physically able to do that, even with drinking adult beverages. Which I did.
If I had the luxury of sleeping through all this rain, I'm sure I'd feel just aces. But I don't, as I have things to get done. And it does me no good to complain, as I bring it all down upon myself. Hey, isn't that what LJ is for?
