Having put the "fun" in 'funeral'...

Really honestly, I believe Mumsie would have approved. The last thing she would want is us kids moping about and being miserable (overly so), so we cried and laughed and sent her off. Very acceptable to us all, and certainly okay to have gone through.

The rest of the weekend was NOT eating everything that was not nailed down, and generally getting back around to the rest of life. Which has the addition of new drama job.

Which is good! Yes, I'm quite certain that payday will drive home the fact that it is PART-TIME but on the other hand... I have kids eager for improvisational exercises, looking forward to plays, and being excited over Readers' Theater. Today they were arguing about who would have which part (and you just read it off the paper, I swear!), and even my Most Reluctants said their lines with aplomb! They actually got up/from their desk read their lines and I didn't have to drag it out of them! YAY.

The house is reduced to 'roof under which I keep piles of crap'. I'm hoping to get that more straightened out, especially since I won't be at the SGA event this weekend. (Sorry!) I did take an evening for Shopping w/Jojo, which was not ninja-like but did result in some pleasing purchases. Halloween season is taxing both of us and our WANT-lists. But now, I have a shed to clean out and a room to gut out and a bathroom to finish redoing. If I finish anytime soon I shall post pictures.

GZ has taken to rubbing against my legs and ankles while I'm standing around. This makes me very happy.

It'll also be good to get my coffee in the morning.
