well, i wasn't going to write about this, but i might as well.

searching for internships sucks. i'm not really sure what i'd like to do with my life. i think it's a problem that i'm a business student but business doesn't really strike me as something i'd like to do for my entire life. med school seems like an appealing option, but i really hate bio too much to push through it. i'd probably be so bitter if i ever did become a doctor that it'd be a waste of time. i've been tempted to talk to levi about how he got to do what he does, because i think i'd like to be a study abroad advisor/coordinator. it seems like a combination of business and human services...

between yesterday and today i've submitted inquiries about internship positions and/or my resume to about 11 companies. i hope something good comes of this. my top choices at the moment are IES Chicago Summer Marketing Internship and PSFCU Marketing Internship. if i get either of those, i'll be happy, but i'd prefer IES Chicago because a. it's paid and b. there'd be more opportunities to travel [seeing as i'd at least have to make it over to Chicago].

in the midst of all this, i also have to worry about housing for next year. seniors aren't guaranteed on-campus housing, and my only option at this point to get campus housing is by being an RA. i've been wanting to be an RA since freshman year, but i was an alternate this year since I was away for the first semester. hopefully i'll get a position for next year. my interview is on feb. 2nd, decisions will be sent out on my birthday. an offer of an RA position would be the best birthday gift i could ask for. =)

my only class of the day was canceled. i went to the gym during that time. i'm tempted to go again, though, strictly for cardio. my cardio sucks at the moment. i can't wait for the weather to warm up so that i can run outside [and actually enjoy myself].
