(no subject)
currently i am the only person in the IES center. the building manager let me in- none of the staff are here yet [and the center is supposed to be open at 8.30, i do believe...whatever.
we have a visit to the jewish cemetery [sp?] for portable roots [so380] class today. it is rather cold out. -3 degrees celcius. i wore my winter coat and really wish i had a hat to go with it. i don't think i'm a fan of wearing my winter coat in october; i'm usually fine wearing a sweatshirt and gloves in the states during winter. grr.
lt450 paper is due tomorrow. i know how i want to write it, and i have a few ideas, but i don't really know exactly what i should write about. i mean, the topic is so open and yet so limited for us. we are basically free to write whatever we want, however we want it, but what i really want to write about is probably not within the rules of what we're allowed/supposed to do. although, just thinking about it as i wrote the previous sentence has given me a great idea! i should go write it down...
in 2 weeks i'll be in poland. saturday is a halloween excursion thing with IES. halloween wednesday shall be a fun day @ IES. the following friday is my departure for polska! mid-terms are next week. wtf? i haven't had history class in about 2 weeks. we've had 3 sessions altogether thus far this semester...mid-terms are supposed to cover the first ten class sessions, seeing as we have scheduled 20 meetings for the course of the semester for each class. way to go, teacher. WTF will be on this mid-term???
