2010 Wrapup
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before? Got a job within two days of starting a job search. Spent an assload of money on something that wasn't a plane ticket.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I only had one, and, oddly enough, despite a lot of what could be considered setbacks, mission accomplished.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die? Only in the most metaphorical of senses.
5. What countries did you visit? The US. VERY UNUSUAL.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? No drama.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? July 1st, seeing as shit started going right then. Nov 10th, as shit started going VERY right then.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Breaking out of a rut.
9. What was your biggest failure? All of my failures merely paved the way to grander successes. For srs.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? All the neverending colds :(
11. What was the best thing you bought? A ring.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Bridget. Jane, sometimes. My mom.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Tara. Some Monash people. Jane, sometimes.
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent, food, and cigarettes.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Plots. Christmas.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter- but saner, so it balances, at least.
iii. richer or poorer? RICHER! Thank jesus.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Finding ways to spend time with people who matter to me while avoiding the people I mistrust.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Second acts, in all shapes and sizes and venues.
20. How did you spend Christmas? With Bridget at her mum's.
21. Did you fall in love in 2010? Yes.
22. How many one-night stands? Just enough.
23. What was your favorite tv program? Modern Family.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't know if I can be bothered hating anyone I don't have to actually deal with regularly. Since I make a point of not dealing with anyone I would hate regularly, no. Read into that as you will.
25. What was the best book you read? Unworthy.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Florence and the Machine, I think
27. What did you want and get? Love that works.
28. What did you want and not get? A lottery win.
29. What was your favorite film of this year? Harry motherfucking Potter.
30. What did you do on your birthday? A last hurrah.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Metaphorically speaking (it's LJ, vague is like, the law), maybe if I hadn't saw fit to tie my burned body to the back of a ute to be dragged over the gravel. I've always been a smidge of a masochist, though.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010? Lazy femme.
33. What kept you sane? Heavy medication, cigarettes, cats, caffeine

36. Who did you miss? I channel the energy I save not hating people into not missing people.
