haha, I crack myself up.
If this doesn't turn out better than all my Harry Potter shit, I'm never writing anything but scientific essays every again. I have a half finished, 3000 word outline, and a 2000 word unfinished first chapter so far. I can recite facts about Klingon and Borg physiology on request, and have created canon justification for every damn piece of plot I shove in, and recite each line I write in my head in the character's voice. SO IT BETTER COME OUT WELL.
Of course, I'm likely going to burn out before I finish the damned thing, but that's what fandom is all about: unfinished epics.
