so i took off to buy some headphones today, and during the process of trying to get out of dodge, i was stuck behind some ppl vandering about to do whatever. one dude had mc-d's, another had some random electrolyte drink, an the last had sweet legs covered in... well shit you normally wouldn't wear pre-8pm. i figured ravers, at the complete ass ( Read more... )

I'm kind of bummed that I couldn't make the protest. I protested by hanging out with a bunch of gays up in Woodinville and drinking lots of beer and wine ( ... )

who the heck is simm's?

I watched most of the speeches, they were rad, but i know next to nothing regarding the fight and those who are teh voice for it.

I kinda agree with you on the marrige issue. it's mostly that they claim that these other little things they come up with to *share* the rights are the same thing. personally i'm sticking with my thought of simply de-legalizing marrige and returning it to sacrament status. it would be an incredibly hillarious touche if all the legal benefits were lumped under the term 'domestic partnership' and then marrige returned to the church where, i feel it belongs.

Still, a single person doesn't move a mountain, many do, so what moves the masses i'll lend my back to. i'm sure the end result will be well shaped by compromise and byplay, i've yet to see how much of a part of it i'd like to be, but like the other 4,500 not expected that day, i've finally decided i need to be a part of it.

Ron Sims (I always thought there was two 'm's).

They showed some speeches he was doing at Volunteer Park. At least that is where I think he was at.

I totally agree with changing legal terminology to say 'partnership' and letting churches do whatever they want in the name of 'marriage'. I've thought the same way for a long time. Lets all just have 'unions' and you can have your own personal beliefs with your fellow churchers on what the meaning of the word 'marriage' is.

ok. that wikki plain rocks. i beyond that i can affirm, yes he was there, and that, based on the amount of professional camerateers[?] in the crowd around me i'm extremely whiged that anyone got such a good pic of him from that angle [i'd have to say his visage that day wasn't so flattering as that side view gives ( ... )
