so infected mushroom both ruled and sucked bloody balls. It was awesome to have them in town, see them throw down and also know their shit hasn't gone to hell, their last release was, in my opinion, questionable.
but i now refuse to go to any party like that at showbox downtown *sodo* (thx chris). the sound system there is so fuckign horrid, so *shitty* that i could barely tell the difference from one track to another, much less one fucking DJ to another. I couldn't really get close enough to see if erez or duvdev were spinning, so it was only my extreme familiarity with their shit that let me know they were up there. it was a fucking attrocity and i fucking gave up and didn't stay untill the lights went on. it reminded me of freaknight when the sound was so poorly organized that it acutally fucked up babyanne's beatmatching and then blew out completely.
FUCK SHOWBOX DT. that being said, i'm still down for seeing shit like gogol bordello there. you don't need good sound for punk. in fact, i'd say if you do, you're doing it wrong.
