before i started dating lish, i'd been foolishly under the life-stance that one should subjugate their ego and self worth, believing that humility was highest pedestal to place one's self. i see now that this was a silly catholic teaching. like most of them, the context of their lessons being to serve to further empower it's mass opiate affect. fuck that shit. humility is a waste of time better spent bing honest with yourself and others.
