015 - Make a new plan, Stan. [Public]
Anyone out there in Colvus making plans for the holiday yet?
With the Long Night upon us, I thought I might let you all in on a little activity I've always participated when I lived in Colvus. None of you want to go to any of those parties thrown by the rich and boring, yeah?
It's something like a scavenger hunt, only not quite as boring. So, any of you interested? I promise it's not dangerous though that's about all I can promise.
[[OOC: Okay, so everyone would like to interact with new players aboard this ship and other ships, right? So, here's the idea:
The game will be somewhat like a scavenger hunt, but with a few twists. First of all, most of the assignments are going to be a bit embarrassing. Gorobei's sense of humor is not very refined, so this could be anything from "Kiss a random stranger" to "Break a plate at a local restaurant;" stupid things to get characters to do things they wouldn't normally do. The characters will be split into groups of three or four, with it being completely random who's group you'll be in (maybe to make some exceptions based on group dynamic or threats from really angry characters, eheh). Depending on how many decide to play, there might be groups of 2 as well. Each character will get a role to play for the night and will have to fit it the best way they know how. This, as well, is drawn randomly. My hope is to get everyone interacting with new characters.
Post here if you're character is going to be in Colvus during the festivities and you would like your character to participate. If you don't want to and your character already has other plans, don't post, easy as that! Thread will go up sometime later, once I'm sure people have had the chance to comment. Oh, and feel free to join in late if you want to. :D
Oh, and if you have any ideas to help me improve the idea, please let me know! I'd like some more ideas to help put this plan into motion a little smoother. As you can see, this might include a lot of brain power that I really don't have, so any ideas for items on the check list or anything would be much appreciated.]]
