i saw the laws of attraction today. the hot, smart, successful female attorney was acting all ambitious and career-oriented, but all the while it was just because she was too scurred and insecure to do what she REALLY wanted to do: get married. DUH! of COURSE any woman over 30 (or 15 for that matter) that's not in a steady relationship has issues, and of course all it takes is pierce brosnan checking her out for 30 seconds and deciphering all those issues and determining what's best for her. the film says, "80% of women who say they are too busy for a relationship are lonely." or maybe 80% of women who say they are too busy for a relationship have a vibrator...? but it's aight, let the guys get their dose of escapism. if it's not "the man show" where women are non-threatening, unambitious, hyper-sexualized sandwich-serving trampoline bouncers, it's a lawyer flick where the woman only has better brains and skillz because she needs some way to occupy her time while waiting for some ugly wrinkled schmuck to propose. riiight.
