Exams and weekend recap

I sent a small picture using an LJ app for my Android phone from Girona. I was there because I took "another" English exam there. As you might know or not, I'm seriously considering changing my career to teaching. In ordre to do that, and thanks to the stupid academic reforms here, I have to study another Masters degree which requires a specific degree of English or superior. In my case, the European B1 level or higher. So I went and took the B2 level ("Advanced") on my own. My friend Rena also came with me because he has no degree that shows how well he speaks English. Suffice to say, I had the oral exam today and we both spoke better than the examiner.

Once this said, we celebrated Sergio's birthday. After a tremendous dinner in a Brazilian rodizion (the one ursine1 visits often) we went to a club. Oooh, it's so wonderful to be in a bar or a disco with no smoke. But wait. People smoked in the toilets and in the dark room. Shameful.

Besides that, my job gets busier by the minute. We found out yet-another last-minute defect in the java interface. We have to place a button somewhere and there isn't room on the window. Geez. I'm also testing xml to as400 processes that automatize how different insurance companies interact in Spain. It's interesting but a pain in the butt.
