Monday back to normal life
I arrived safe and sound back from Lisbon. I will just say that it's a must-see city. It's really beautiful, full of charm. Their public transport is really good, including the picturesque tramways (eléctricos) but you will have to walk a lot :) The only drawback is that crime is really high - albeit low-grade crime. I got my wallen stolen on a bus. Even with the huge signs of "beware of pick-pocketers" they managed to open my side pocket and steal my wallet. Not that they took a huge amount of cash, but renewing the cards as well as driver's license, ID card (I had to go to the Spanish consulate to get a safeconduct to take the plane) , Social Security and the like will take me a few weeks. And I need another wallet. However, that's the only negative part of an otherwise wonderful trip. Both Dominique and I are looking forward to visiting the city again.
