I've been kind of absent. But not fecause I joined Facecult or anything of the like. I've had sexy Dominique during the week and I've been kept, er, busy. Not that there is much more to tell.
Well yes
- Mortgage payment is down. Too little (thanks to IRPH indicator). It's at 5.88% (I had it at 6.15%). Next revision: next August. And no, I can't changed to fixed rate. Computer says no.
- The dead project I'm working into is back to life. I had the kick off meeting today. I'm not actually responsible on the COBOL part. There will be an organic analyst and two functional analysts, me and the new guy. Then we will send stuff outsourced (big *cough* here) to Lisbon. If you're interested, it's a project that handles billing from used cars sold through the WAG dealers in Spain.
- I'm going skiing tomorrow again. Call it addiction.
Then I was like searching for songs in Portuguese to practise my damm-i-can't-yet-speak new language. But then I found a great song from the ESC back in 1975, from Germany. Lots of people say it's one of the most unfair positions ever in the ESC. It's good, indeed. Go to to see it at full splendor (hey, most Germans used to sing in hieratic positions) at 2:20-ish. It's like your aunt on speed.
Oh, the Portuguese song... Also from the ESC but in 1984. Quite a decent ballad
Anyway... As usual, I can't live without a tacky touch. This time also from Portugal and the ESC in 1981
