I'm very proud of being Catalan. Even the institution that preserves our language and updates our dictionary, called Institut d'Estudis Catalans has decided to update the definition of "marriage" (matrimoni, in Catalan) to make it sex-independent. Therefore, the new definition goes from
"unió legítima entre un home i una dona" (legitimate union

Hey, once you're installed, go to your nearest Normalització Lingüística and you can make the first courses for free

Yep, first one's free (though you have to pay for the book) and the courses after that are stupidly cheap.

I'm on my third one now and it still only costs 20 something euros for the course and the same for the course text.

A language course for 40-odd euros? Not bad, in my book!

Now, if only I could find Spanish courses as cheap...
