There's a guy in the town of Reus (like 90 km south from Barcelona) who decided that politics was something to laugh at. He's usually an Elvis impersonator as you can see here and his name is Ariel Santamaria.
Five years ago the guy said that if politicians stole money he could do it himself, so he created a political party, called CORI (Coordinadora Reusenca Independent) and the guy got elected in the local elections in Reus, so he's a member of the city hall. He's also known because he wanted to perform a marriage dressed as Elvis, but he wasn't allowed.
The funny thing is that his political enemies decided to distribute a picture of him naked in order to make fun of him. As a result, his popularity is up!
