I live an interesting life
Here is some evidence to support that counter intuitive concept:
Exhibit A. I'm going to the Las Vegas Punk Rock Bowling Tournament in January! We have a pretty OK and quite punky team that's been practicing all year. We're only mildly annoyed that we didn't manage to get into the actual tournament. That will give us more time to focus on drinking and music!
And if that wasn't enough, the worlds best cover band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes will perform at the awards party!
Exhibit B. Since July I'm working at Google. I'm a Java programmer and team lead. After 8 years of startups it's confusing to be with a (very!) prosperous and growing company where there is a lot of different work to choose from. No longer do I have to explain to everyone what my company does and why they've never heard of it. BTW, most of the legends you may have heard about the place are true.
