Stylo to get a play Monday on the Zane Lowe Show, BBC Radio 1 (UPDATE)

UPDATE 8:00GMT 20/01/10:- Just a note to say we may have been a little hasty calling this the world premiere, but according to Zane, (as you can hear for yourself by listening to the recording of his show below) he will definitely be playing Stylo on his show on Monday 25th January, 7-9pm GMT.

Thanks to Zombicus, ElGatoFelix and an anonymous person for sending the following news:- Stylo, the first single off Plastic Beach, will have its world first official airing on the Zane Lowe Show on BBC Radio 1 on Monday night. On his show tonight, Zane said "The new gorillaz record is absolutely out standing just phenomenal from start to finish one of the greatest modern pop records ive ever heard. This coming monday we will be playing the brand new single on this show..youre going to be blown away by the new gorillaz record." You can listen to tonight's show on the BBC iplayer here (the Gorillaz mention comes just after 1:28:00) and tune in at 7pm GMT on Monday, January 25 to hear the first play of Stylo.
