But...that's kind of amazing. How does that affect you?

I'm lucky, I'm in an older neighborhood that's one of the high areas on the flood maps, that is above the record flooding levels. Also, I'm on the second floor of a brick building. I'd still rather move back to Maine, though. Seriously, who builds a town in a floodplain?
