So it's still freezing rain, and once again the entire University is closed. So much for the two classes I was supposed to be having today. I'm in full vacation mode now, which means that I sleep ten hours.
Marlboro mail server is still down, which is still frustrating.
I'm still out of reading material, having reread a book yesterday. I am also out of movies. This may call for desperate measures. I mean, I can walk to Vulcan Video. I might possibly be able to take the bus to the library, but I don't know if I'm that ambitious. Part of my problem is that I can't decide if I want to reread Sunshine (not nearly as sunny as it sounds) or Tam Lin (long, poorly paced and potential to give me nasty college nostalgia/loneliness instead of good college nostalgia). So far I've avoided both.
I've discovered that I can watch movies on this laptop so long as it's fully dark outside. I can have an ambient light on the other side of my apartment, but not falling on me or behind me, because it'll reflect. This is all right in that it forces me to wait until after dark to watch things, which is a more appropriate time, but all the same, I like to watch an episode of something when I get home from work, and it's usually not dark yet. Sigh.
