NOT an outdoorsy girl..
so I began my second day of yardwork.....and I just quit.
Yesterday, I manually cut ALL of the azaleas that line my house and some of my front yard....yep, manually, from 8am to 2:30....my arms were shaking like whoa. Today I borrowed my Dads electric hedger and man was that so much easier. I did the back yard and started clearing the small trees and such along the fenceline with the electric chainsaw. Yes, thats right, lil ole me weilding a chainsaw..woohoo. All was going well when I felt a sting on my inner arm. I looked down and it was a FREAKING TICK!?!?!?! OH MY GOD! a tick, do you know how gross that is???? man, so I stared at it for awhile horrified. I got online and looked up how to remove them...apparently you're NOT supposed to burn them or coat them with stuff anymore as that causes them to VOMIT in your blood. EW. So, I got my tweezers out and pulled the sucker out and man was he gross. After sanitizing EVERYTHING, I am itchy ALL over. I quit yardwork and am paranoid that they are all over me. I keep feeling things and lifting clothing to check..and oh my god, if one is stuck in this mass of hair I have.
