Mine was pretty sweet too:
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
gorgeouslywrong sent to me...
Twelve scones drumming
Eleven colors piping
Ten eclipses a-leaping
Nine aquariums cooking
Eight words a-swing
Seven beverages a-writing
Six parenthesis everything
Five absu-u-u-urd laws
Four spontaneous haircuts
Three douglas adams
Two old movies
...and a tango in a theology.
Um, love.
Location after four days home: still in armchair, reading. So far have re-read Golden Compass--I'd forgotten most of it, mostly the violence and horror, which is so fundemental to the book, but also just the delight of it all--gypsies, witches, daemons, armored-bears! I'm also halfway or so through Terry Pratchett's new book, which is an excellent satire of banking, and my eyes, I was told today, have not changed in two years (maybe I won't go blind after all!) and we've spent most nights watching the Animaniacs and Star Trek, and I've taken three baths, and cooked, and eaten too many latkes(I begin to resemble one). I should actually leave the house and see people at some point, but as yet I have zero motivation to do so. Delicious gooey irresponsibility!
