Was this from last night's Criminal Minds? I was so surprised when he showed up!

No, it's from the article. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/leisure/3864769.Magic_and_tragic/

He's much more scruffy in the episode!

Nice article!

He did a great job with last night's CM, too. I thought it was one of the best this season. Do you know, was that cameo a one-off, or do they plan to bring him back?

He directed the episode. My *guess* is that he just filled the little role that was there that was just for pushing those two characters together. No need to hire someone to play an aging detective when he was right there. :)

He'll be in the Dec 5th episode of Num3ers and Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear) will be in tomorrow's episode of Num3ers. :)

I knew he directed it, that's what I meant when I said he did a great job, though I didn't make it clear. It did look like I meant the cameo. It'd be nice to see him in a fuller role.

I don't usually watch Numb3rs (stupid spelling!) but I might watch his, just for fun.

I always do; his directing style can be pretty obvious sometimes and I like to compare them to the episodes of Starsky and Hutch that he directed! :)
