I am eating a vietnamese spring roll with fire sauce and peanut sauce.
Contents include:
sliced shrimp,
shredded pork,
tofu,
bean sprouts,
lettuce,
and carrot strings
all wrapped in a large vermicelli noodle.
On the side is my beverage; rye filtered vietnamese coffee with condensed milk & honey.
Very, very tasty.
This is a wonderfully, balanced meal.
For those of you that do not know what vermicelli noodles are, it's a pasta, in long, very thin strands most often found in vietnamese meals although it is an Italian noodle.
And now,
for some off topic(and useless) information- Vermicelli is a latin word derived from Italy, pl. of vermicello diminutive of verme, worm, from Latin vermis(sp?).
Obviously Indo-European Roots.
