I haven't been on LJ in a while...
Shit is going good for those of you interested.
Yes I am still alive.
Yes I am feeling great about life right now.
Yes I am still with Jennifer.
I was thinking last night when I was in bed. Emotions tie people together, well, kinda.
I'm a believer in fate, but I've always thought that the concept of a "soulmate" or "one true love" was pretty ludicrous.
Anybody has the potential to be your soulmate or your archenemy in any given situation. This the reason that people who nobody ever thought would be together end up falling in love, and people whom everybody thought would get along end up feuding; because it all relies on timing.
We are constantly changing as people and showing different personalities with each changing day, so maybe the same person that would have been my perfect mate last week no longer fits the description next week.
Therefore, this would mean that all love that we encounter is temporary. Or maybe it means that it is permanent, for if we have the potential to be anybody's soulmate, this would mean that we are all connected to each other. Are emotions some sort of energy force that we keep passing on from person to person, from generation to generation?
Just a thought.
