Dreary ass weather

Oct 25, 2007 12:09

It has to go. I've been fighting a head cold since Sunday. It's sucked the life out of me. Leeched off my energy, and made me cold. The droopy weather has done absolutely nothing to help. It's cold, wet, and foggy. The kind of rain that swoops around in circles and defeats umbrellas.

My big toes are still frozen and I'm just home for a lunch break. I don't know how many patients I'm going to see today. My preceptor seems to be in a better mood. :| She's going through alot and she's been more than wonderful to me considering her circumstances.

So I'm going to curl up on the couch and take a nap with Oscar. maybe get out of here a little early so I can grab some coffee.

That's another fuckin' thing that drove me insane this morning. The mocha machine was broken at the gas station this morning. I screeched in the middle of their "Fast food" section "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK!" And this older lady replied in a dry, husky voice "This crappy coffee." She held up her plastic cup in disgust.

I just walked out. My clothes are shrinking (or I'm getting bigger), and I had no coffee. I'm going to the gym tonight weather I feel bad or not. 5 days in a row is rediculous.

I need to figure out what the girls are doing for halloween. I'll send out mass text message tonight. I was going to invite friends over tonight for Gray's but, my carpet hasn't been cleaned. We had Stanley Steamer come and they were a bunch of fucking IDIOTS. I won't even get into it. Bryan sent them home (he has a short fuse) and we called another company that's supposed to come out tomorrow.

I miss talking to some of the people I'm not talking to anymore. :|

I. Suck.

So. The sky came out. It was only for 5 minutes, but it came out and I cheered. I almost wanted to cry it looked so pretty. That pasty color blue with bright clouds -- tops yellow from a sun we couldn't see yet. Then I went to talk to this man who complained about his valium and addiction to seroquel, and how he needed a "head doctor" and by the time I survived the interview, the sky was gone.

Fucking shitty. -g-
