God damn. That woman is hot. I was two seconds from making an appointment with my stylist today to get my hair cut like that. TWO SECONDS. But, I'm not. I will get my bangs razored like that though. In July. When I graduate school in a year, I'm getting a nose job. That one. Well. Something similar to fit my facial structure and, hopefully, improve my dastardly profile. :| Shame washes over me.
I need to dress cuter. I do. But, I could do more. It's not like I have anything I need to hide.
Exersize Regimen
Upon several requests, here's what I do.
I work on a 5 day workout basis. 1 day off.
Day 1: Run 5-6 miles. Eliptical/bike for 20 minutes (intensity on 6). 15 minutes abs. 20 minutes stretching.
Day 2: Bike for 60 minutes. Weights: arms, legs, back. I use the machines. I'm terrified of free weights. (I will break a foot. I swear I will.)
Day 3: Run 5-6 miles. Eliptical for 30 minutes with intensity on 12. Pilates for 20 minutes.
Day 4: Eliptical for 60 minutes. (Or 3 mile run) Weights: arms, legs, back.
Day 5: Run 7 miles. Abs for 20 minutes. Stretch
Day 6: Day off. EAT WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT. This keeps me sturdy on my healthy diet and keeps me from eating bad stuff all the time. I find that I don't really care to eat alot of bad stuff on my days off anymore.
Repeat.
Diet: I've been so bad lately, so I won't even put in what I've been doing the past two weeks. But, here's what's normal for me.
Breakfast: cereal and yogurt. Banana and cereal. banana and yogurt.
Snack: 100 callorie pack (these are awesome)
Lunch: Zone bar/smoothie/grapes & crackers/cereal/PB&J/Half a turkey sandwhich with miracle whip/carrots with dressing (supper fatt)
Snack: Sunflower seeds, nuts, etc along those lines.
Dinner: My big meal, so I eat pasta or home made pizza, meatloaf. I eat meat for the protein and lots of veggies. It's my big meal, so the portion size is small but there's tons on my place
CHEW SLOWLY. I feel like I'm eating all fuckin' day, but my metabolism is through the roof and my body isn't in starvation mode. There's no need to starve yourself to be thin. You can enjoy healthy foods, exersize and see results. When you feel the need to grab a cookie, grab a handful of grapes instead.
My downfall has been eating bad things like ice-cream and cookies and drinking white russians, and eating 2 large meals a day, and eating chocolate, and pizza, and burgers, and BLAH BLAH BLAH. Eating badly after you work out alot comes back alot slowly and you will notice in enough time to take control again. I don't stress out about eating. That's not an issue for me. I stress out about my eating naughty things! Today I put myself in check
What I ate today:
Breakfast: cereal (cheerios) and yogurt
Snack: none
Lunch: grapes, crackers and cheese, half a zone bar
Snack: non
Dinner: Chicken Alfredo (YUM!) and two slices of buttery ass garlic bread!
Drink lots of water. That's something I don't do alot of right now, which I'm fixing. I try to drink 3 bottles a day. 1 glass of milk besides what's in my cereal. I also use those crystal light packs to put in the water. I hate red liquids in my bottle, so I favor the lemon, honoey lemon, ice-tea, and clear flavor packets.
REMEMBER
You may not be able to start off as strong. Go 3 days and take a day off. That's how I started. Instead of 5-6 miles, do 2 miles and all the other stuff. If you can't run, ride the bike alot, swim, do something. Running outside is a great substitute for the gym. I enjoy it alot, but man I sweat so badly. Hiking. Dancing. Karate are all good forms of cardio. Cardio is the key. You have to burn the fat down before you start toning. If you're over your body mass index then I would stick to cardio and skip the weight training until you get 10% close to your goal. Then when you start weight training you'll see a difference, because you'll have less fat to cover your muscles.
It irks me to see bigger people at the gym pumping weights, when you won't ever see their muscles for all the fat on them. I want to make them walk on a treadmill for 30 minutes. There's no point in doing crunches until you loose at least 30% of your goal. I just guessed that statistic too. So I'm partly full of shit, but I make sense!
I weighed myself at the gym and it was ugly. This girl runs up to me and she was like "Was your reading off?" I was like, "YES!" She laughed and said, "Thank goodness. I was going to freak out." One of the staff members told us it was off. I was like, "You almost turned me into an annorexic for the amount of work I put into trying to be healthy. I was going to be like FUCK THIS SHIT." Haha.
Me and this white girl with blond hair are at the gym alot. We have the same body types. Similar struggles. I like her alot, and I've hardly ever talked to her.
I'm going to grab some grapes now and bug Bryan for a chance to play Halo 3 Beta.
