Zombies Are Everywhere
I am happily surrounded by the undead. What a wonderful time to be alive. Or not.
The Walking Dead is set to return to AMC in less than a month (this makes me very happy) and Halloween is right around the corner, with no shortage of zombie costumes, movies and 'documentaries' on cable. I've always loved a good run from a life-challenged walker but have never seen a zombie run. At least not the kind of run that I'm hoping to be a part of next weekend.
An actual semi-fitness event this zombie run allows people to choose which side they want to be part of - infected or not - and puts obstacles in the way just to make it interesting. For the living, there are checkpoints, flags to capture, so strategy must be applied to meet the objectives and escape with your humanity. Of course if you choose the undead team, I guess you can just go into a frenzy and eat the flags, and the runners.
I haven't chosen yet but it all looks so fun. Who's in?
