is it lame to just want to draw pictures of my home? or landscapes? is that totally boring? i suppose i dont really care if its boring, as long as its good. but it seems so important these days to be exciting or weird or funny or smart. and every time i try to do those things it feels phony. giotto was weird funny and smart. and better at it, too
