For my own curiosity...just wanted to keep track of how I've been influenced by Pinterest.com. This is a list of recipes and crafts I've made, products I've bought, and anything else I've tried after seeing it on Pinterest.

Recipes
Herb Skillet Bread - Delish! (Left out the red pepper flakes)
Lemon Brownies - Tasty summer treat!
Irish Beef and Barley Stew - Didn't use this recipe, actually, but it inspired me to find another.
Grilled Cheese for Grownups - Fabulous!
Creamy Chicken Pockets - This is our family's new favorite. My revised recipe is here.
Chicken Fajitas in the Crock Pot - I did a "stir fry" instead of using the crock pot.
Banana Oatmeal Muffins - I thought it would be the perfect breakfast for my husband, lots of fiber and easy to reheat in the morning. Unfortunately, my new-ish blender died when trying to blend all of the ingredients together at once as recommended in the recipe, so I never got to make the muffins. :(
Chicken, Potatoes, and Green Beans - Pretty tasty. I cut the amount of butter but still found it very "greasy." I would also cut the cooking time to 45 minutes.
Microwave Potato Chips - Yes, it worked. Yes, they tasted good. Yes, I felt almost healthy eating them. :) No, they will never replace store-bought potato chips. Still, it's a healthier option than the Lay's. Watch...and smell...carefully so they don't burn! There's only a second or two between 'perfect' and 'burned.'
Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Mug - Daughter liked it, I didn't think it really tasted like a chocolate chip cookie. I used mini chocolate chips, though, instead of regular chips...all I could taste was chocolate. Will try again with regular chips.
Broccoli and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese - None of us cared for this. It was bland, even with the pepper jack cheese and imported white cheddar I splurged on. Also, the cheese sauce separated after about 10 minutes (tasted very flour-y, and you could feel the flour texture-wise). That might be chef error, although I have made a roux dozens of times and never got that type of texture.
Hash Brown Cups - These were ok...a bit tough. Made with bacon instead of sausage.
Sandwich "Bombs" - Made this with Rhodes frozen dinner rolls, leftover turkey and ham, and some shredded cheddar. They were ok...tasted good but the texture was off. I think I didn't let it rise enough a second time before cooking.
Chicken Piccata - Delish! Will leave out capers next time.
Angel Food/Pineapple Cake - Everyone thought this was so-so, and I hated it. Would not make again.

Crafts
Paint Chip Easter Egg Garland - Cute!
Hunger Games Bleached T-Shirt - Awesome!
Wooden Sign with Painted Monogram on Burlap - Made a version of this
Tulle Halloween Wreath - Made a version of this
Neon Bracelets with Hardware - Cool. Also made some with a different type of fastener
Fried Marble Pendants
Sew a Ruffly Scarf - Looks nice when finished, but it was harder to do than it looks. Still, I'd do it again.

Products
Hunger Games Necklace bought from an Etsy seller I refuse to promote (had a bad experience with a second purchase)

Cleaning/Organization/Household Tips
Clean the inside of your dishwasher - I didn't notice a real difference, but my dishwasher is only 2 years old
Soap Scum Killer - It worked except on the worst areas. Also, it STINKS horribly and I recommend doing this only in a well-ventilated area. I had to open the bathroom window, but it was very cold outside so that might have affected the result. It took a long time to wipe down my shower walls...maybe the cold air made the soap stuff gel?. Overall I don't recommend this mixture. It's more trouble than it's worth. NOTE on 9/6/12: I realized I used the Ultra Concentrated form of Dawn, which I'm told acts differently than regular blue Dawn. So, I might give this another try with the plain stuff.
Craft Ribbon Storage - Use a Sterilite basket with holes and two dowel rods...not perfect, but better than anything else I've tried to corral spools of ribbon.
Hang shower caddy on opposite wall from shower head using coat hook - Genius! So glad we did this. Used a small "robe hook" from Lowes.
Hang a bag of water with pennies inside to repel flies - I hung a gallon Ziploc bag of water with 5 pennies inside under the light fixture at my back door. I used to have flies sunning themselves on my siding in the afternoon, but there are no more flies since I hung the bag.
Cut empty toilet paper tubes up the side and slip around a roll of wrapping paper - Yeah, didn't work. My Charmin tubes just opened up like limp dishrags. There's no way they'd cling around a roll of wrapping paper.
DIY Foaming Handsoap for Pennies - Looooooove it. So far I've used Dr. Bronner's Lavender, and plan to use citrus for the kitchen when I run out of Method After further review, the soap leaves a white film over the sink that I have to scrub away every few days, so I've gone back to Method.

Home Remedies
Poke a hole in an Advil Liqui-Gel cap and put some gel on a pimple to immediately take down swelling and redness - Did not work
