I just heard some Mexican lady insert "Los Marshmallows" in a long stream of Spanish speaking at the Grocery Outlet, ha! I had to buy stuff to make green bean casserole for Thanksgiving. I was duped into bringing something last year so I googled the Paula Deen recipe, figuring that was a safe bet, and it was the first thing to go!! They practically licked the dish clean. Now I'm pretty much under contract to make it at every family function forever. So last year when I made it I watched Elia Kazan's 'Babydoll' while cutting fresh green beans, cause it takes FOREVER and I needed something to keep my mind occupied while completing the tedious task. I fell in love with the movie and decided to make classic movie watching a tradition along with the bean/cutting/casserole baking.
soooo last year's casserole classic....
sexy sexy sexy
and this year's casserole classic...
Arthur was good enough to get me the Hepburn boxset today just for the hell of it! So I got this, Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's! YAY!
Ok, now I need to put these groceries away and get started on my next painting...
