Good and Bad.
GOOD =
I started my new job at Murale last week. For those of you who don't know, it's a new concept owned by Shopper's Drugmart that is cosmetics only. There's already a store in Montreal and in Ottawa, and now I'm being trained to open their third location in Toronto. The training is 6 weeks long, and we get TONS of free product to try out. That being said, its going amazing so far. Although there's a few people I'm not so sure about, it seems like a really great team all around and I'm excited to be a part of such a new company.
BAD =
Today when I arrived at work at 9:50 (we started at 10) the manager was in the hallway about to call me on her cell and was like "THERE you are!" ... I thought that was kind of weird, considering I was ten minutes early. But I didn't think much of it. Later tonight, I opened an email that was sent two nights ago telling us to come earlier this morning. I feel really stupid for not knowing, but at the same time, isn't it kind of weird to assume everyone checks their email all the time?? I mean, I was out of town visiting my family this weekend. I just find it weird that they would rely on that, you know? I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I should know better, this day in age, to check my email. *shrugs* I felt stupid. Ugh.
