What a day it has been
What a morning!!!!
We had YB oop - you know what I mean - as usual and were about to try the whole download the free trial version of Indesign and use it for 30 days as we were getting desperate! And we did download it. And then I had the good sense to check my email and there was a wonderful note telling us that we had approval to purchase all 24 copies of Indesign plus a complete copy of Indesign Suite which also gives us a photoshop and illustrator copy. I was stunned. Ali didn't believe that it was true. Then we started squealing and yes, I actually did jump up and down.
Then I phoned the company to place the order and I found out that the price had actually gone DOWN from the price which we had been quoted!!!
And now my paranoid little personality is wondering how come this good stuff has happened? What sorts of evil things await us? Are the boogeymen going to be sent up from you-know-who to collect my immortal soul?
Well, at least I don't have to consume KD and cat kibble as my main sustenance for the next two months as that was Chris Clarry's plan and all my food budget would have gone to purchase Indesign. Notice that he didn't offer to eat KD and cat kibble!
So we are splurging on a huge thank you bouquet of lovlies for you-know-who. Yes, sucking up is a good idea at times. This is one of those times!
And I am amazed that grad is only a few days from now. You guys will be home and I will laugh at how mature you all are and how grown up. Ali and I and Kerry are like orphans left behind!
Must go - tonnes to do for the afternoon - including donning armour to face one of my delightful classes! Grrrrrrrr!
